ABOUT US
Austin Rivault, Guide/Owner
I have been duck hunting for 11+ years, from the public land marshes in Louisiana to the timber of Arkansas. Hunting was instilled in me at a young age by my late father, who taught me how to hunt and how to do it in the right way, all while respecting our wildlife and leaving an area better than we found it. Without my dad allowing me to tag along, I would not be the hunter or man I am today. One of our key philosophies is “Take a kid hunting.” Without the next generation, we will not have a future in hunting.

I’m 26 years old, born and raised in Arkansas. I started duck hunting in Arkansas around the age of 13, and it’s been a strong passion of mine for the past 13 years. The outdoors have always been somewhere I could find peace, whether it be hunting or bow fishing. I look forward to meeting you guys and providing the best hunt to my ability.

It seems as though it was just yesterday when my father took me out and began teaching me everything good about hunting. From that young age, I fell in love with waterfowl. Hunting is more than just a passion, it’s my lifestyle. I have 15 years of hunting experience including 3 years of guiding. From the Louisiana rice fields and swamps to the fields of West Texas. The hunt is not just about killing, it’s about the experience and the beauty of nature. I’m excited to provide that authentic hunting experience along with my knowledge to shoot some birds with our future clients.

My ability to adapt and overcome most any situation that is thrown my way has made me into the best guide for you. When it’s not hunting season, I spend most of my free time on the river.

I grew up here in North Texas, while part of my family is from Louisiana. I’ve had the pleasure of growing up hunting both states, as well as Kansas and Oklahoma, hunting everything from pheasant to swarms of pintail and mallards. My father got me to fall in love with waterfowl hunting when I was 7, and I grew up hunting many of the same ponds we take our clients. I have 17 years of waterfowl hunting experience and grew up helping my father with his guide service as a kid. I have been guiding for 3 years now and look forward to many more. I love the outdoors and the experience we give all our clients from trophy birds to first time ducks and geese, and I look forward to taking our future clients on memorable hunts.
